Don't adjust your monitors — this is in fact a blog post that has nothing to do with Bonnaroo. The folks at Marathon Music Works recently announced two mighty intriguing shows that will take place at their fine establishment in the coming months. Baltimore's dream-pop duo Beach House — who we've interviewed and written up and enjoy quite thoroughly — will play MMW on Sept. 15. And Philadelphia's increasingly legendary road-dogging masters of '60s-inspired indie rock — who we've interviewed and written up and written up and enjoy quite thoroughly — will play MMW on Nov. 17.
Tickets for both shows will run you about $22, and they'll both be available this Friday, June 15, at 10 a.m. Beach House tickets will show up here, Dr. Dog tickets here. See Beach House's video for "Lazuli" from this year's Bloom above. And in accordance with the equal-time rule, see Dr. Dog's video for "That Old Black Hole" from this year's Be the Void after the jump.
