Cream Calendar Black Lips To Play Third Man Records With Cheap Time June 11

6/11 - Nashville, TN @ Third Man w/ Black Lips
When we inquired with Third Man Records, we discovered that the date had not yet been fully confirmed. Today, however, the official announcement finally dropped that Atlanta's quartet of irreverent self-described “flower punks,” The Black Lips, will play the Blue Room at Jack White's clubhouse on Monday, June 11. That's, of course, the day after their appearance at Bonnaroo. While there's no indication in the official announcement that Nashvillian rock 'n' rollers Natural Child will provide support, fellow Tennesseans Cheap Time will be on the bill, along with DJ Ben "Nashville's Dead" Todd.
As always, "the show will be recorded live to analog tape and released as a live LP. Copies of the limited edition Black & Blue colored vinyl will be available for purchase after the show for those in attendance only." Copies of that lovely poster over there — designed by Julian Baker — will be for sale, and tickets are now available for $10. Due to some construction, access for Monday's show will be a little tricky, but you can see more on that at TMR's site.
