Weekend Round-Up: International Children's Day Style

Posted By on Fri, Jun 1, 2012 at 7:30 AM

First off, no Chris Crofton Show this week, but feel free to dip into the archives and listen to an old ep or two. Now, the day upon which you should celebrate Children's Day varies depending upon your country of residence, but June 1 is pretty widely accepted. Really though, isn't every day Children's Day?

[Segue not found]

We've got just a little bit of good stuff this weekend as far as live entertainment goes. Tonight you've got AJ and the Jiggawatts' EP release at The Basement, Naked Without Us at Exit/In, What Up English with Fox Fun and Calicocat at The High Watt and more. Tomorrow you're looking at Todd Snider and Justin Townes Earle at The Ryman, Matthew Perryman Jones' album release at Exit/In, By Lightning! and Scale Model at Brick Factory, Epic Ditch with Hurts To Laugh at Zombie Shop and plenty more. Have a look at the rest — compiled by Adam "Golden Child" Gold — after the jump. Let us know what we missed, and have yourselves a carefree weekend.
