Show of hands: Who's prankin' this weekend? If you aren't raising your hand, that means you're gettin' pranked prank'd. I'm thinking I might slip about two dozen of these bad boys into my roommate's car, hamper and pillowcases. Of course, if he reads this post, he can pre-empt me somehow. Fair warning!

Anyway, let's get serious. We've got some decent options for local music seekers this weekend, be they jocular or austere in spirit. Tonight you're looking at Scissormen at Family Wash, Parachute Musical's farewell show at The 5 Spot and more. Tomorrow you've got Quintron and Miss Pussycat at Third Man, By Lightning! with Wax Fang and Poly at The Basement, The Lonely H at The 5 Spot and more. Have a look at the rest — compiled by music listings editor Adam "Joker" Gold — after the jump. Let us kow what we missed, and have yourselves a jovial weekend.
