Weekend Round-Up: Truman Style

Posted By on Fri, Feb 17, 2012 at 7:45 AM

I cannot tell a lie: We've done "President's Day Style" before. But why not double-dip? No harm in double-dipping, right? Anyway, do any of you guys get President's Day off? We don't. We'll be back in full effect on Monday, so look forward to some bloggage while you're celebrating George Washington's birthday, or whatever the hell.

On to the matter at hand. There are some pretty strong options this weekend, if you're looking to get your rock 'n' roll, pop or singer-songwriter on. Tonight you've got Drake at Bridgestone, The Clutters with Cy Barkley and Bad Touch at Dino's, Caitlin Rose with Buffalo Clover and Evan P. Donohue at The Basement, My So-Called Band at Mercy Lounge, moe. downstairs at Cannery and more. Tomorrow you're looking at By Lightning!'s record release with Cortney Tidwell and Glossary at The Basement, Sex Cult's record release with Useless Eaters and more at Little Hamilton, Screaming Females early at Grimey's and much more. Have a look at the rest — compiled by music listings editor Adam "Four More Years" Gold — after the jump. Let us know what we missed, and have yourselves a presidential weekend.
