According to John Gotty of Nashville-based blog The Smoking Section, Canadian R&B/hip-hop superstar Drake — who's playing Bridgestone tonight — just stopped by Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet School. Gotty tweeted the above image, which was picked up by Drake fan site #TeamDrizzy. Team Drizz had this to report:
While there he talked to the students and answered questions. Drake himself dropped out of highschool, but was able to share some wise words to the students. One student asked Drake if he would ever return to Degrassi and he replied, “Probably not at this stage”. Drake also brought a girl on stage and sang happy birthday to her.
So, you know, do as Drake says, not as he does. Unless you want to be a platinum-selling recording artist, that is. Still, good looking out, Drake. Pay it forward and so forth.

Since this no-talent high school dropout is telling these ignorant products of the union-owned public school system to "you know, do as Drake says, not as he does" (you Nashville Scene hipster poser types are literally beneath contempt in your choice of published diction, but that's a rant for another day...) maybe he could tell them to PULL UP THEIR DAMN PANTS!!!
I gotta defend my high school here, which recently was ranked as one of the top in the nation.
OH MY GOD KEEPINITREEL U R SO DUM!
I don't recall there being much of a problem with student dress at one of the top magnet schools in Metro, dude; I've visited it. Nor does this particular school have much of a problem with "ignorance" from an academic level since it is a consistently high performer, recognized not just locally but nationally.
It does, however, have a problem with "ignorance" from people outside the school who think they know what "that school" is like with "those students". I think you might be just such a problem, KeepinItReel.
