It’s time again to get ready for some March madness in Music City as the ragtag, local-garage-rock wrecking crew over at Nashville’s Dead has dropped dates and an initial lineup for their third annual Freakin Weekend.
The three-day freaky deaky mini-fest will occupy the Rock Block on March 7-10 at Exit/In and The End. Set to appear are The Greenhornes, JEFF the Brotherhood, PUJOL, Titus Andronicus, Screaming Females, Ty Segall’s Traditional Fools, Useless Eaters, Heavy Cream, The Men, Mikal Cronin, Diarrhea Planet, D. Watusi, Sex Cult, Cy Barkley and the Way Outsiders, Ranch Ghost and Dirty Dreams.
More lineup additions, a festival schedule and ticket info are still to come. Until then, check out the Doug Lehmann- and Seth Riddle-produced promo clip above.

Too funny G-man. I'm looking forward (BTTW/full speed ahead) to see some of my favorite bands at The Freakin Weekend III. Very cool that you found the German band Accept vid of their BTTW album released in Europe in December of 1983. My army job took me to Germany fall of that year and I spent 2 years and 7 months living and working there, returning to the states late spring of 1986. The Berlin Wall didn't come down until 1989. I wonder if the Accept band's BTTW album and video you posted here references the Berlin Wall. They sure have the best beers in Germany and know how to party there. The Germans love Americans and they especially love American music (met some Germans, on holiday, at the Station Inn last summer). I strongly encourage all American musician/singer/songwriters/bands to try and make a stop in Germany if they are ever touring in Europe. Just be sure to have a designated driver, especially if they are going to travel on the autobon (oh heck:spelling?) since there is no speed limit.
