Cream Great Escape in Madison Robbed, Clerk Stabbed

At press time details are still few, but it is known that the assailant entered the store — located on Gallatin Rd. — approached the victim and asked about Star Wars merchandise before lunging across the counter and assaulting him with a kitchen knife. A scuffle involving the assailant, the clerk and a second employee then ensued, resulting in the assailant fleeing on foot and the clerk suffering cuts and stab wounds about the head, stomach and lower back.
The unidentified clerk is currently hospitalized, though his injuries are not critical. The suspect is described as a clean-shaven, white male between 5’9" and 6 feet tall. He was wearing a gray hat, blue jeans, black shoes and a gray shirt.
We’ll keep you updated as details unfold. Until then, seriously, fuck the guy who (allegedly) did this. Robbing record stores so close to Christmas? Whadda Grinch. Also, Kim Jong Il died. Fuck that guy, too.

Wow. What a hip a nd cool guy the writer must be to use the word "fuck" in the story. Must be so very grown up.

Adam, how dare you use such language to defile the character of a heartless, violent criminal.
For those of you who know him, the Great Escape employee who was stabbed was Chris Hargrow from Ocelots. He'll be laid up for a while, but he is leaving the hospital and we're thankful he wasn't hurt worse.
Wow. Get well soon, Chris. As a thirty-year Great Escape customer who remembers you at the Broadway store, I sure hope they catch up with the guy who did this.
It appears the Channel 5 story has been updated since Cream linked to it. A James Coss and a Dusty Krantz have been arrested. Apparently it was Coss who did the stabbing. See the link for more.
