* Maybe you're familiar with the relatively new podcast series Dead Air, which comes to us intermittently from punk-rock bloggin' babies Nashville's Dead. ND has two new installments (Babe Wave Part 1 and Babe Wave Part 2), in which Lauren Taylor of Chicago's FreeRadio SAIC has been cranking out rock 'n' roll jams, many of them from lady rockers. A diggable stream, if you're looking for some free webby tunes.
* Everybody loves it when video-review site You Tell Concerts weighs in on an arena blowout! Chrystal of YTC was at Guns N' Roses' recent show at Bridgestone Arena — as was The Spin, of course — and she got one of her legendary post-show recaps. Will anyone say "fuckin' OH-sum"?
