We Own This Town's Video Archive, Nashville's Dead's Babe Wave Dead Air Installments, You Tell Concerts Does GNR [Streamy Bits]

* Essential local-rock web stop We Own This Town recently created an extremely helpful new feature: It's a beta version of their new video archive. The videos in question are mostly music videos and performance footage that both we and WOTT have posted before — from folks like By Lightning!, Heypenny, Caitlin Rose, Casa Castile, Birdcloud, Glossary, Those Darlins, The Ettes, Quichenight, Diarrhea Planet and on and on — but now they're all in one handy player, regardless of their original home (Vimeo, YouTube, etc.). And while I'm not particularly inclined to run people off from our site, I'll concede that it's slightly easier to watch all the videos in question via one player than to go through all our posts tagged "fresh vid" one by one.

* Maybe you're familiar with the relatively new podcast series Dead Air, which comes to us intermittently from punk-rock bloggin' babies Nashville's Dead. ND has two new installments (Babe Wave Part 1 and Babe Wave Part 2), in which Lauren Taylor of Chicago's FreeRadio SAIC has been cranking out rock 'n' roll jams, many of them from lady rockers. A diggable stream, if you're looking for some free webby tunes.

* Everybody loves it when video-review site You Tell Concerts weighs in on an arena blowout! Chrystal of YTC was at Guns N' Roses' recent show at Bridgestone Arena — as was The Spin, of course — and she got one of her legendary post-show recaps. Will anyone say "fuckin' OH-sum"? Will anyone say "Helluva GIT-arr player"? Watch to find out. It's embedded after the jump.
