In the midst of basic tracking,
We encountered a message from an alterverse, broadcasted within the electronic statics of a condenser room mic:
It was from an Alterjeremy, that real groovy one that leads the house band on Conan the Barbarian's variety show and heads the chair of the AEIOU
(Alterjeremy Exchange for Interdimensional Other Universes).
He was pretty hip to the whole alter-scene, and let us in on the hottest gossip:
Rollerblade Napoleon Jeremy had done a alterverse trade with Icky Lizard Jeremy, but didn't think the bugs really tasted "that good,"
So, obviously, Rollerblade Napoleon hit up Boba Jeremy from the Lucasian alterverse through the AEIOU Switchboard, and placed a stout bounty on him for doing a crummy reality trade,
But the real news was that Icky Lizard was on the run, and might try to sneak a reality bump by wrapping Our Jeremy in his old skin-husk that has a price on its head and chuck him out into limbo to wait on Boba,
Then just turn around like nothing happened,
And be all like trying to fool us with his Manface Rubbersuit, eating all our bugs, that really do taste "that good."
So, after much deliberation, we realized that all we really needed to do was dress up Our Jeremy like Rollerblade Napoleon, and sure enough when Icky Lizard showed up, he slipped right back into the droney sparking shadow he lurched from.
But a bigger question remained: Were all the Jeremy's merely different depending on who's looking at them relative to where they were?
Did foundational Jeremyisms translate throughout alterverses?
Would experiential variables result in comparable approximations?
And if there was a Gawd, does It know each Jeremy individually, or as a facet of a Comprehensive Jeremy within the story of Life, through the compound eye of the Omniscient Narrator?
Regardless, in the end,
All in all, it's safe to say:
There are many different types of a person,
But I know mine,
That sign in blood,
For we bleed ink,
In AEIOU.
