Cream Calendar Dr. Dog to Play War Memorial Auditorium March 3

At this point it would come as a bigger surprise if tireless road dogs Dr. Dog didn’t have a Nashville date slated for their forthcoming Spring 2012 tour. The good-natured trad-rock troupe has graced Nashville stages, like, six times in the last three years. And on Saturday, March 3, the band brings its dog-and-pony show back to Music City for a headlining gig at War Memorial Auditorium.

That’s a little less than a month after the band’s sixth LP Be the Void comes out Feb. 7 on Epitaph. Wait. Epitaph?! Really? Kinda weird, but OK. Hopefully it won’t sound like Neil Young meets The Offspring, or Bad Religion meets The Beatles.

Anyway, tickets for Dr. Dog’s War Memorial show are already on sale. They’re 20 bucks a pop, and you can purchase them here.
