Cream Calendar Weekend Round-Up: Headless Gold Man Style

As you'd expect, there are loads of celebratory shindigs going on this weekend, and many of them are music-oriented. And, of course, there are plenty of shows that aren't technically Halloweenish in nature. Regardless, it's a party-oriented weekend. Mercy Lounge and Cannery Ballroom are having their "Hallo-Weekend Spooktacular" (Easy on the puns there, boys!) Friday and Saturday night, with performances from My So-Called Band, Space Capone, The Aught-Nots, Guilty Pleasures and more. Tonight you also have The Avett Brothers and Social D at Bridgestone, Vitalic Noise's anniversary party at The Wine Loft, Adrian Belew at The Belcourt, Spongebath Nite with Self and Seth Timbs' Thing at The Basement, The Grayces' album release at The 5 Spot, Chance, The Kicks and Call It Dope at 12th & P and loads more. Tomorrow you're looking at Jacuzzi Boys with Heavy Cream and Cy at The End, Paul Burch's album release at Peter Nappi's Studio, The Black Belles and How I Became the Bomb at Greenhouse Bar, a Little Hamilton blowout featuring covers of The Misfits, Sunn O))), Minor Threat and Black Flag, Night of the Living Cover Bands at The 5 Spot to benefit the Tennessee Teens Rock & Roll Camp (with folks like Uncle Skeleton, Tristen and The Non-Comms covering Kraftwerk, The Go-Gos, Brian Eno and more), Bush, Candlebox and more at the 12th Ave. Block Party Stage and more.
