* Local clothing retailers Imogene + Willie now have a feature on their website called "Our Voice," and for it they recently interviewed Nashvillian hip-hop artist Chancellor Warhol. Chance spoke a little bit on his affinity for art (Andy Warhol, duh), film (Back to the Future, mega-duh), being from the Nashville area (representing my hometown of Hendersonville, super-duh) and more. There's also some talk about style and photos of Chance looking rather dapper. Dig it.
* The Scene's sister publication, Her Nashville, recently sat down for a chat and a few helpings of Sweet CeCe's frozen yogurt with the folks from Ten out of Tenn. "No topping was off limits," says Her. Who here likes vanilla?!
* So Toadies II — nice name, right? — is the project of Christopher Murray, also known for his work in other thoughtfully named outfits including Square People Jazz Maturity and Hepatitties. Well, Mr. Murray recently tweeted at us — he protects his tweets, so if you don't follow him, you probably won't be able to see that — asking how we could post Look What I Did's latest music video and not the video for Toadies II's "Good Boy." Now, we don't typically negotiate with terrorists, but I don't want anyone thinking we prefer Look What I Did over the sort of spastic, cerebral, neurotic bedroom punk that Murray makes. So see "Good Boy" after the jump.
