Happy SoundLand everybody! By now I'm sure you've heard about the block party tonight over at 12th & Porter with Yelawolf, Big K.R.I.T. and a whole score of locals. I somehow managed to smash my head on the door of a taxicab last night and now have a 4-inch-by-1-inch bump on my head and trouble forming complete thoughts, so if you need a more in-depth explanation, you're going to have to check out my essay over at American Songwriter. If you can't wait to get your hip-hop day started, you can head over to Phatkaps at 3 p.m. to catch a K.R.I.T. meet and greet. I suggest going, as Krit is one of the nicest dudes I've met in the music game.
