By now, any real-estate-market-abreast Nashvillian knows that John Rich likes to look for love in all the wrong circles. Given Rich’s strained relationship with his Nashville neighbors up on Love Circle, it comes as little surprise to learn that the myself-proclaimed Kenny Powers of MOR country and local Trump in Training is fishing his ratings-rocketing pool of fans in search of a buyer for his Nashville former home.
I’m not talking about his concrete middle-finger salute to humility, Mt. Richmore — an irony tower that overlooks greater Music City — but a nameless, neighboring abode that once housed the singer and his inflatable ego. Located at 3403 Love Circle, the 2,712-square-foot, four-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath, single-family Hillsboro home is currently on the market for $579,975. It was built in 2005.
The house is being marketed to potential buyers as a “piece of country music history,” as you can tell by the Be John Rich’s Neighbor sales campaign. Or by the video posted above. A real estate advertisement rich with all things Rich, the clip features the recent Celebrity Apprentice winner giving a virtual tour of sorts while dropping names like Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson and Taylor Swift.
“This is the first house I ever bought. I’m very attached to this house. … It is currently empty because I don’t live here anymore. I moved, actually, right around the corner to another spot on Love Circle, which you can probably throw a rock and hit my front door from here,” Rich says, offering a pretty good selling point for the home’s location, location, location, before continuing, “I know there’s somebody out there that needs to live here, and somebody out there that wants to be my neighbor.”
This begs the question, has he called up Gary Busey and him an offer yet? Fingers crossed. Fingers crossed.
