Last night was the final installment of The Colbert Report's 2011: A Rock Odyssey, and this one was Third Man overload. From Colbert's last interview with White and ensuing tour of Third Man Records here in Nashville (see above) to Colbert's performance of "Charlene II (I'm Over You)" with The Black Belles (see after the jump), I can't really tell if TMR took over Colbert or if Colbert took over TMR. I do know, however, that you can purchase the "Charlene II" Blue Series single via Third Man or at HaveYouSeenOurCat.com. There's also a web-exclusive clip in which White and Colbert try to out-Catholic one another, but being a good, Protestant-raised Southern boy, I have no idea what the fuck they're talking about. By the way, if you're on the fine island of Manhattan at this very moment, you can see J-Dub, Colbert and Third Man's Rolling Record Store down at High Line Park at 30th and 10th right now. This concludes the relentless Colbert-TMR media blitz.
