Bad Cop's 'Maniac' [Fresh Vid]

Posted By on Mon, Jun 20, 2011 at 12:10 PM

From the aptly named — at least as far as this video is concerned — Bad Cop comes their brand-new video for the song "Maniac," written and directed by frequent Cream/Scene contributor Seth Graves. "Maniac" debuted via Pop Matters, and Bad Cop frontman Adam Anyone says the video "is about living in the South, where the people who are supposed to be watching out for you are often out to get you." So there's a judge, and a jail cell, and guns, and a scantily clad local "It girl" getting senselessly popped in the dome. Most importantly, of course, there is music. Rock 'n' roll music of a garage-y, Stooges-y ilk, to be precise. Get the popcorn ready — but prepare to either eat your popcorn hastily or not pop very much, as this one clocks in at just over two minutes. Enjoy!
