With that in mind, news breaking statewide this magical, pre-Bonnaroo, Monday morning — that Britney Spears current Femme Fatale Tour and comeback outing is coming to Nashville's Bridgestone Arena — begs only one question: Is hearing, rather seeing, "Toxic" and "... Baby" performed live (likely with Cirque du Soleil-worthy stage production) worth sitting through two hours of crap like "Gimmie More," "I'm a Slave 4 U" and a cover of "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" unfit for the ears of anybody who actually does love rock 'n' roll?
Probably.
Don't lose any sleep over such a head-scratcher, though. You still have five days to make up your mind, as tickets to the former Mrs. Federline's chaotic July 18 trek into The 'Stone go on sale right here this Saturday, June 11, at 10 a.m.. Jessie and the Toy Boys, Nervo and contemporary pop princess Nicki Minaj (!) will open. Ticket prices run the economic gamut of $29.50-$350. Damn, that $350 better come with a meet-and-greet. I mean, that's a lot of money to see Nicki Minaj open for someone.
I kid, I kid.
Alls I know is, if Britney promises a vocal performance that even remotely rivals the awesomeness of the one below, any ticket price will be worth it. I'm there. I'm so fucking there.
... Oops, I kidded again.
