Lil Wayne Will Be Here Tomorrow, but He Won't Be Rapping

Depending on your social media circle, this may be really old news to you, but just in case you haven't heard: The rumor (it was a mystery for a second there) is in fact true, Lil Wayne will be in Nashville tomorrow night, and you can hang out in the same room where he is hanging out. That room is the Nashville Dinner Theatre, 209 Printers Alley, where Meharry students will be celebrating their graduation. Congrats! (Some advice, by the way.)

So yes, Lil Wayne, in Nashville. He will not be performing, we are told, but he will be hosting the party. I'm not sure what that entails, exactly, like, I doubt he'll be handing out little sandwiches and lighting all the candles as people arrive, but that's what the word is. Another word is that some of the Young Money crew will also be in attendance. The party, while billed as "The Storm Is Over," a graduation party for Meharry students, is open to the public, aka you, and you can buy tickets on the Internet — $43.19 for general admission and $80.12 for VIP. This doesn't make me any less bummed that the Wayne/Minaj tour didn't come here, but hey, partying with Weezy seems like it'd be pretty fun nonetheless, as long as he doesn't play guitar and Kid Rock doesn't show up.
