The fellers at We Own This Town continue to own this town, thanks in part to their 44th installment, which debuted this morning. You'll recall that their last go-’round was a video featuring tunes from local garage-y proto-punkers D. Watusi, and that not long after, they unearthed some hot vids from back in '06. Now, they're back to their familiar audio-only format, and this one is a doozy.

The 44th volume of We Own This Town's podcast features The Features' "Rambo" (from a soon-to-be-released 7-inch), Kindercastle's "Beddie Bye" (from their soon-to-be-released Number B), Eureka Gold's "White Crow" (from their recent posthumous release The Land of Imaginary Suffering), JEFF the Brotherhood's "Shredder" (from their forthcoming We Are the Champions, of which I now own two dope copies on vinyl), Natural Child's "Hard Workin' Man" (from their recent stoner-rock masterwork, 1971), Those Darlins' "Fatty Needs a Fix" (from their blistering new effort, Screws Get Loose), Casa Castile's "Desert Cat" (from their highly recommended debut LP Umbra), Quichenight's “Anna and Joanna” (from the forthcoming Quichenight I) and more. My word. This is a mighty fine 'cast, brimming with local talent. Do yourself a favor: Get it in M4A or MP3 format, and get to peepin'. Solid workday soundtrack.
