Pre-Order The Features' 'Rambo' Single, Hear Bootlegs and More Via The Damage Is Done

The Features are currently gearing up to release Wilderness — slated for release July 26 — their first full-length effort since Some Kind of Salvation. As you may recall, Salvation was initially self-released in 2008, and later re-released by Serpents and Snakes, a Bug Music/429 Records imprint curated by Kings of Leon. Wilderness, too, will be dropped via Serpents and Snakes. Come May 31, The Features will release the 7-inch "Rambo" b/w "This Much I Know" (see promo above), and you can already order it right here. Having already received a watermarked press copy of Wilderness, I'll simply say this: Hold on to your socks. And your hat. And your goddamned britches, because this dose of textured, literate indie pop is a lethal one. Dope, lush stuff.

And since we're talking about The Features, have you seen The Damage Is Done yet? It's a Tumblr curated by NYC-based comic Brett White, and while it hasn't been updated since April, it does feature some tantalizing, new-to-me Features bootlegs and videos. We're talking everything from live versions of "Psycho Killer" at 12th & Porter and "Circus" at Bingham’s in 2003 to Mahaffey Sessions from 2000 and loads more. Everyone: Go get your Features on.
