* Taylor “Babygirl Tay-Tay” Swift just hit 20 million in record sales. Twenty million (!), and that’s with only three full-lengths under her belt, and at the age of 21. She celebrated in London at the end of her European tour, with — you guessed it — characteristic humility and her mouth agape in Taylor-esque shock and awe. [Via]
* Miley Cyrus recently spoke with Australia’s Daily Telegraph, and while the focus of the interview was mostly on Cyrus touring Australia, not being single (Jared? Is that you?) and cutting social media out of her life, the main thing Pop Eater seemed to notice is that Cyrus doesn’t think YouTube phenom Rebecca Black is very talented. "It should be harder to be an artist," quoth Mi-Cy. I mean, it’s true. She’s right. It’s just that some people — and I’m not saying me, per se — might find the source of such scrutiny to be a little ironic.
* And finally, strap on your dumpster-diving trash-bag ponchos: Ke$ha had a dream that she and Lady Gaga made out. Remarkably unsurprising, right? Until you hear this part: “We were in this art room at pre-school, and we were painting together. Then I leaned over to give her a kiss. Next thing we’re making out.” So … Baby Gaga and Kindergarten Ke$ha making out and finger-painting. Why does that sound like a Garbage Pail Kids trading card to me? [Via]
