National Skyline Nashville to Take Over Lincoln's Haymarket Arena in 2014

Those performers likely won't be rock bands — or to be more precise, rock bands that have emerged in the past 10 to 15 years. … the traditional development system to get them there has crumbled.
The post's author, L. Ken Wolgamott, cites a host of pop-country artists like Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift, and references rockers Kings of Leon among Music City's crop of arena gladiators his crystal ball sees the building hosting. He claims:
The best bets for the Haymarket arena now come straight out of Nashville. The country music industry still works using the old model, with radio play generating hits, fans still buying "physical product" rather than stealing the music on the Web, and performers touring, starting in clubs, then opening bigger shows, then headlining.Paisley, Chesney, Swift and Co. aren't going away anytime soon and likely will still be around and doing well in 2014. The Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean and several others seem to be on the path to playing the biggest venues. So expect the Haymarket arena to get a steady diet of them …
