As we told you a while back
, the Bruise Cruise Festival
sets sail Feb. 25-28. It's a music festival on a giant boat that goes to the Bahamas, and you drink and party all the time, and cool bands play and it's fun. Today, festival organizers — and Turbo Fruits' Jonas Stein is one — announced that the one and only Ian Svenonius
(c'mon, Chain and the Gang, Scene Creamers, The Make Up, Nation of Ulysses) will be cruise director, aka head party man in charge of partying.
As if partying on a cruise ship with Ian Svenonius weren't reason enough to drag your landlubbin' ass out to sea, here are the bands playing the eight or so shows that will be part of the BCF, including an island party in Nassau: The Black Lips, Vivian Girls, Surfer Blood, Ty Segall, Strange Boys, Thee Oh Sees, Quintron and Miss Pussycat, Jacuzzi Boys and Turbo Fruits. Speaking of the Fruits:
