And then, we forgot about all that. At an October show in Vancouver, Phair didn't play "Bollywood." She played "Fuck and Run," and closed with "Flower," and made her fans — oh those long-suffering fans — happy paid customers of the Cult of Liz Phair Which Was Not Completely Destroyed by Funstyle. Will we be so lucky? Phair plays Mercy Lounge Jan. 30, with what supporting act we do not know, so we shall see about that. I'm hopeful. Are you hopeful?
