JEFF the Brotherhood’s latest single “Diamond Way” is today’s “MP3 At 3PM” on Magnet Magazine’s site. The afore-linked post quotes the Scene in crediting the J-Bros and parent label (literally) Infinity Cat with “single-handedly [pushing] Nashville’s long-running punk scene to the national stage." Well, on behalf of the paper, I’d like to augment and amend that adept declaration to say "... the international stage." Here, have some proof to go with your pudding.

Just as unequivocal a truth it is that JEFF the Brotherhood are unequivocally awesome, it is an unequivocal truth that skateboarding is not a crime. In Germany, these two realities are about to be joined in Wagner-worthy harmony. Furthering JtB’s international status — they’re touring in Australia and New Zealand next month, FYI — as Nashville’s flagship punk band, Germany’s MOB Skateboards will soon be issuing a souvenir skate deck honoring the brothers Orrall. The deck’s illustration comes courtesy of Heavy Cream singer Jessica McFarland. Click here for more info. With any luck the board will be available in time to stuff stockings with. You’ll be gleaming the cube with it in no time ... hopefully. Radical!

All this talk about skateboards and punk rock has got me hummin’ this little ditty:
