Weekend Round-Up: Happy Von Steuben Day Style

Hey hey! Happy Von Steuben Day! That's right. It's Von Steuben Day. Whatever that is. It's a German thing. Today also happens to be the birthday of The Prodigy frontman Keith Flint, but after reviewing his Wiki entry, music listings editor Adam Gold and I have determined that dude is too dorky to dedicate anything to. Even just a Weekend Round-Up style. So yes! Don your lederhosen, chomp down on a major sausage — Sausage Day is this weekend, anyhow — and get your Von Steuben on.

Well, if you prefer peeping some jams over jamming sausage in your gullet, there are options for you, the music listener, as well. There's the nostalgia showdown of Guilty Pleasures v. My So-Called Band on Cannery Row, Pizza Buds' grand opening, Murder by Death and more tonight. And tomorrow, you're looking at Bobby Bare Jr. at The Basement, Local Honey's fall fashion show feat. Tristen and Natural Child, Yacht Rock Revue at Mercy and plenty more. Per usal, let us know what we missed in the comments section and have a good weekend. Auf wiedersehen!
