Buzzfest 2010: Papa Roach, Drowning Pool & More, Sept. 10 at LP Field [Oh the Humility]

Just imagine this times, like, 7,000.

Certainly you haven’t forgotten how God opened up the flood gates upon last year’s Buzzfest, punishing Music City alt-rock fans by preventing performances from Mudvayne and “Alice and Chains” (or was it Alison Chains?). Unbroken by that debacle, 102.9 The Buzz are back to bring you Buzzfest 2010, Sept. 10 in the LP Field parking lot. While a 15-day weather forecast is predicting Sept. 10 to be “mostly sunny [and] warm” with temperatures ranging from 72-93 degrees with a 0% probability of precipitation, Drowing Pool are playing, so fans can still expect to get a little wet. Also on the bill are fine active rawk ’n’ rollers the likes of Shinedown, Seether, Papa Roach, Sick Puppies, 7 Day Binge and Janus. Additionally, a “Local Buzz” stage will feature November, Manic Bloom, Adalene, Forgotten Fable and Voodoo Prophet — bands you can read more about on Nashville Rock. Said website is throwing a Buzzfest afterparty at downtown’s Rock Bar. Buy your Buzzfest tickets here. Don't hold back, go the full nine and splurge on the VIP package (only $152.99 per-person).

OK, now this is just weird.
