* Hey, so as D.P.R. told you back when, local popular music band The Zut Alors started a Kickstarter project to raise enough scratch to press their album Boy Girl Party to sweet, sweet wax. As you may know, a Kickstarter project is all or nothing — and today, with just under 10 hours to go, they're just $183 short of their $1,995 goal. They've come too far to not get this done, right, Nashville? [Kickstarter]

* What? You still don't have yourself a copy of Those Darlins' debut album Those Darlins by Those Darlins? Well, it's ridiculously inexpensive at just $5 from Amazon MP3, at which price it will remain until the end of August. [Amazon]

* Locally produced zom-rom Make-out With Violence, which took top honors at the Nashville Film Festival, will be getting a DVD/Blu-Ray release in October. I mention this because the $30 LP/DVD edition includes, and I quote, "Vinyl LP by The Non-Commissioned Officers, film poster, lock of actress Shellie Marie Shartzer's hair, an essay by somebody who likes the movie." [Some fuckin' DVD site or some shit]
