Friday Video: Kings of Leon Shreds

Posted by D. Patrick Rodgers on Fri, Jul 23, 2010 at 9:00 AM

It's no "Yo Steps Is on Fire," but it's pretty damn funny. Anyhow, getting the "Shreds" treatment is something of an honor, right? If you're interested, here's the original, filmed during KOL's notorious Reading 2009 performance.

That's gotta be one of the best shreds videos ever made.

The "YOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWAAAHOOOOOOO" on the first line of the chorus absolutely slayed me. Damn that's funny! Sounds like Goofy falling off a cliff.

Y'know, that actually sounds like their set from Bonnaroo. Was the audio even changed at all for this?

That is flippin' hilarious. I may be late to the Shreds party - but well, well, done.

I cannot wait for the commentary on the KOL pigeon story. Summary: KOL played 3 songs the other night and walked off stage in St. Louis. Thier excuse? Getting shat upon by pigeons on the catwalk. For the record, both opening acts played full sets and managed not to die from poop.
