Now, I'm going to be honest with you. I've said before that — despite looking like a soccer fan — I don't really give much of a damn about footie or futbol or "The World Game" or whatever you like to call it. BUT, the second Steve Haruch told me that there's an octopus that has very consistently predicted the outcomes of each of this year's World Cup matches? Well, now I give a shit about soccer for the first time since I was 6.
If Paul the prescient octopus were here in Nashville, he could probably tell us which shows to attend. Should I go see Black Rose: A Tribute to Thin Lizzy, or Silver Seas at their release show? And what about Saturday? Should I see Brendan Benson, or do I want to check out The Long Players as they take on my second-favorite Beatles record? Maybe seeing Scorpions on their last tour ever is the right way to go ... but what about Reel Big Fish?? Will Sleigh Bells on Sunday sell out? Only Paul has the answers. Have a look after the jump to see what's going on this weekend, and let us know what we missed. Have a safe one. All hail Paul.
