Practice your best bland, white-ass vocal stylings, because Season 10 of American Idol is headed to Nashville for the first stop on the audition trail. Saturday, July 17, the farcical talent show sets up operations at Bridgestone Arena, where wannabe major-label singers now as young as 15(!) can audition for this sweat-shop of fame.

Listen, I don't normally go making appeals to our readers, but please, there has to be someone left in the local rock scene under 30 who'll audition for this crazy heap of trouble for our viewing pleasure. Movement Nashville's entire roster should be there as it is, and anyone who's spent the last decade eschewing mainstream success? Here's your chance to show us how it's really done, covert-ops style. Remember, it only takes one day to change the rest of your life. Deets after the jump.

WHO: Men and women 15-28 years old as of July 17, 2010, who are eligible to work in the U.S. Some restrictions apply.

WHEN: Saturday, July 17, 2010

WHERE: Bridgestone Arena
501 Broadway
Nashville, TN

HOW: Wristbands will be distributed from approximately 7:00 AM on Thursday, July 15 until approximately 8:00 AM on Saturday, July 17. Auditioners will not be permitted to camp out. Once auditioners obtain their wristbands, they will be asked to return to Bridgestone Arena by 5:00 AM on Saturday, July 17.
