Cream Calendar Keegan DeWitt EP Release Tonight at 12th & Porter

So what's that Keegan DeWitt been up to these days? Traveling the world, or at least France? Writing film scores? Scoring with film writers? Well, he has been working on a new EP, called Nothing Shows, and he'll be playing tonight at 12th & Porter to celebrate its release, even though it's not technically out yet. Now, a note about Nothing Shows: It will be the first-ever record released solely (on July 13) through the one and only Daytrotter. (Here's DeWitt's '09 session.) Would you like a song from this album to which to listen? Here you go:

It's a way more effervescent and Tears-for-Fears-y than we're accustomed to from K.D., and I definitely don't think that's a bad thing. More on the introspective, dreamy-strings tip, here's a video for the song "Michel Bizot" after the jump, featuring Madi Diaz and friends.
