Creamtastic The Zut Alors' Kickstarter Campaign to Put out Boy Girl Party

Local new wave-influenced bedroom popsters The Zut Alors put out a pretty underrated self-titled release last year. It actually featured two songs, specifically, that ended up being among my favorite local tunes of the year. Here's one. And the other. Anyhow, now they're looking to put out their debut full-length, which will be called Boy Girl Party, and all they need is a little support from the locals. They've booted up a Kickstarter account, and they're looking to scare up 1,995 bones in order to get vinyl pressed at United. Deadline is in 43 days.

As is customary, the Alors are offering special prizes — everything from a handwritten note all the way up to a private party thrown in your honor — for backers who send them the bones they so desperately need. Frontman Nick Bennett put together a non-embeddable promo vid over at Kickstarter that's totally worth your time. It features sleevefacing. My fave. Alright, so ... doo it!
