That’s right folks — we’re quite saddened to say it, but we will be leaving our current South 11th Street location behind at the end of this month… We’ve had alot of good times here (as we hope you have too) and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the downtime is short and sweet, as we love being part of the Nashville music community and look forward to getting back in the saddle soon… As always, we will keep everyone posted as things unfold via our website and newsletter…
Everything in the store is on sale at a steep discount: 25% off everything new, 35% off everything used. That excludes consignment and concert tickets, including the Sleigh Bells pre-sale. When I dropped in yesterday, the guys at the register wanted to make it clear that this is only a temporary situation and that, if everything goes right, they’ll be back in business soon. We can only hope.
The Groove’s last day of business is on Sunday, June 20, so you might want to consider skipping Saturday’s Great Escape Sidewalk Sale and pay your respects. Last I checked, they still had Dylan’s ill-conceived gospel album Saved in the used bin.
