* Over at The 5 Spot the other night, Justin Townes Earle, Caitlin Rose, Derek Hoke & Co. helped raise $3,000 for the MusiCares Flood Relief Fund. Good work all around. [American Songwriter]

* Speaking of Caitlin Rose, her Daytrotter session went up yesterday, and it's awfully good. As Sean Moeller puts it, in part, "It all comes from an aching place, though there's plenty of pride and plenty of that stiff upper lip that you'd expect from such a fireball like this one. She can most certainly stand up for herself, even if what's wanted is to throw on a sundress and some boots and grab a cold beer or warm whiskey drink." [Daytrotter]

* Speaking of flood benefits, local collective Ten out of Tenn have put together the compilation album We Are All In This Together, with all proceeds going to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Artists include Katie Herzig, Matthew Perryman Jones, Trent Dabbs, Joy Williams, Andrew Belle, Madi Diaz, Griffin House, Jeremy Lister, Tyler James and Butterfly Boucher. [iTunes]

* Still speaking of flood benefits, the good people of Bonnaroo announced that they're getting in on the relief efforts, too. "Now through Sunday, June 6, Bonnaroo will be facilitating donations, via the Bonnaroo Works Fund, and matching them, dollar for dollar, up to $30,000. All donations will go to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee." [Bonnaroo Works Fund]
