* Grimey’s has a handful of solid and/or intriguing in-store appearances on the horizon. Saturday at 4 p.m., they’ll host an Exile on Main Street listening party (in honor of the extended reissue) featuring some Stones covers from The Dexateens. Hopefully with a bit of Jagger impersonating. Also at Grimey’s in the coming days are Nashville legend Darrell Scott, fashionista-turned-Jack-White-baby-mama-turned-singer Karen Elson, and Norhtwest punk-poppers Visqueen. See Grimey’s for more details.

* The Nashville’s Deadheads have compiled a pretty extensive list of forthcoming local releases, from Infinity Kittens like Heavy Cream, PUJOL and JEFF the Brotherhood to The Kindergarten Circus, fecal cosmonauts Diarrhea Planet and so much more. We’re gonna see some hot wax this summer. There are a few anticipated releases that didn’t make the list (Ocelots, for one), but it’s an awfully impressive inventory nonetheless.

* Support Nashville is attempting to put together a compilation album, the proceeds of which will go toward flood relief. Local bands who would like to be featured can apply at the site. Come on, dudes. Let’s get some good tunes on there. [Via WOTT]

* Speaking of We Own This Town, they released another of their champion podcasts back on May 10, and we failed to post about it until now. To avoid being pistol-whipped by WOTT admin Michael Eades in true mustachioed-villain style, I’m begging you to download it. It’s a good one, with tracks from Evan P. Donohue, The Comfies, Hannah Barbarians and much more. Oh yeah, Moustache May blowout at Mercy on May 29. Good lineup + proceeds, appropriately enough, benefit victims of domestic violence.
