So maybe Ke$ha was a no-show at the Re-Build This City on Rock 'n' Roll show the other night. But you know she brought 1,000 pounds of dog food to a local shelter, right? Now she's putting on a benefit show of her own, which will be June 16 at Limelight. She says:

I'm thrilled to announce that I will be playing a show to help benefit Nashville, my hometown. 100% of the profits from ticket sales will go to help the victims of these devastating floods. Nashville helped shape me as an artist and as a person and my love for this city is beyond words. I will continue to do anything I can to help rebuild this city and support the families and animals who have been affected by this tragedy.

Yeah, so she throws in that bit about artist development, but you know what I heard? She's also going to donate the dollar sign in her name to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee! Anyway, it's great to see her chipping in. Tickets are either $30 for general admission or $100 for VIP, which includes a meet and greet. You can get those here.

We should be hearing more about our water situation in a bit, but as the Nashvillest duo — who seriously deserve a medal of honor for their efforts — observed: "Ke$ha conserves water by brushing with Jack, and we appreciate that."
