The Black Keys to Play The Ryman (Which Is OK) Aug. 12

Posted By on Mon, May 3, 2010 at 2:33 PM

If you’re reading this right now, that hopefully means you’ve made it to dry land. I hope that all you readers out there have survived this weekend’s craziness without incident. The Ryman has also survived. Tonight's Goo Goo Dolls show (rescheduled from yesterday) is on for 7:30 p.m. According to an email from the venue:

If you are not able to attend the rescheduled concert today, refunds will honored at point-of-purchase until 5:00 pm this Friday May 7.

Parking garages on Commerce Street north of Broadway as well as the garage in the Suntrust Building next door to the Ryman are open. Phones at the Ryman are not currently working but you can email with questions.

The Goo Goo Dolls will be collecting non-perishable food items at the concert tonight for donation to Second Harvest Food Bank.

Shitty shit like a massive a flood is enough to give any local resident the blues. It could be worse though, we could be like Akron, Ohio’s Black Keys — they've always got the blues. See for yourself when the power-duo — fresh off the heels of an appearance at Bonnaroo and stint supporting the Kings of Leon — make their return to The Ryman Auditorium, Aug. 12. Tickets are $29.22-$40.60 and go on sale this Friday, May 7, on Ticketmaster.
