We've told you about local filmmaker Matthew Robison's (Silver Jew) 2009 rock doc We Fun a few times now. The film captures Atlanta's burgeoning indie and garage-rock scene, featuring performance, interview and fraternal-shenanigan footage of artists the likes of The Black Lips, Deerhunter, The Selmanaires, King Khan and the Shrines, Mastodon and more. (See trailer above.)
On Record Store Day (April 17) the DVD will be made available, exclusively at the nation's independent record stores, for a period of 90 days. Save the date, dawg.
