God, how'd you like to wake up with Leprechaun Gold at the end of your bed on St. Patrick's Day? Terrifying. Anyhow, St. Patty's falls mid-week this year, so I wanted to go ahead and jump on the shamrock tip. Adam Gold, Seth Graves, Scene photog Steve Cross and I will all be at South by Southwest for a sizable chunk of next week, but you can keep an eye out for bewildered, drunken coverage (our specialty) right here on the Cream. Know of a band you think we should check out? I, for one, am open to suggestions.
In the here and now, however, we've got a weekend full of promising shows. From Tobacco to Essra Mohawk, Makeup and Vanity Set, De Novo Dahl, The Grayces and two shows from Lucero, things are looking good. This week's round-up list was compiled by our totally competent intern Madison Conger. Thanks, Maddy. Have a glance after the jump, and let us know what we missed.

Well I doubt Lady A. has the material for a 2 hour show.
Cheap Trick are getting old, dude. It's tough to rock properly after years of hard livin'.
Hurricane Doyle at Norm's River Roadhouse Saturday night. What's that? You don't like the idea of driving 7 miles down dark and winding River Road with monster trucks flying at you doing 90 and knowing you're going to have to run the same gauntlet on the way back in a few hours, except drunk, and also knowing that if you do happen to survive a plunge off the road into the darkness, nobody is going to find you before you've starved or you're eaten or you've eaten yourself to stave off starvation? Come on, man...
