As evidenced by his multitude of tweets, tarnished but beloved comedian Conan O'Brien -- the Lady Jane Grey of late night -- is bored. REALLY bored.
With little to do besides count his settlement millions and wait for NBC to pull their dicks out of his ass, Coco has decided to take his talents on the road with his upcoming Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television Tour. It's a jaunt that will see him follow in the footsteps of longtime cohorts Max Weinberg and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog by making an appearance at Bonnaroo, where he'll head up the festival's 2010 comedy lineup.
Also slated to bring the laughs are Margaret Cho, Aziz Ansari, Greg Giraldo, Bo Burnham, Doug Benson, Nick Kroll, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, John Roberts, Baron Vaughn and Chelsea Peretti. Additionally, insult comic dude Jeffrey Ross will do a roast of the festival. I'm hoping he gives hippies really bad trips. Today's announcement surprised me, as I had thought that OK Go, Les Claypool, GWAR, Blues Traveler, Tori Amos and The Dave Matthews Band constituted the Bonnaroo 2010 comedy lineup. I kid! I kid!
If you've been to Bonnaroo before, then you know that getting into the comedy tent can be a bigger pain in the ass than the corporate cock of NBC, so I'm hoping that Coco -- given his newfound hero status -- will pull a Chris Rock and perform on the main stage. If not, look forward to an epic clusterfuck in the tent -- hopefully it won't happen while you're peaking.
On an unrelated note, since this is the only time I see myself making mention of viral rockers OK Go in the foreseeable future, I'll go ahead and use it as an opportunity to point out that their new video is pretty amazing. Check it out below.

Woops. I mean it's probably my finest work.
Totally makes up for that dubious Jon Burr pumpkinhead photoshop from October.
The Bonnaroo announcement says that Conan's going to be MCing the What stage on Friday and Saturday so he probably won't be doing a full set but he will be on the main stage from time to time.
Love the Lady Jane Grey shout-out! The Delaroche is probably my favorite painting of an execution!
Your excessive use of bad language is annoying. I suggest you introduce yourself to a thesaurus.
@Jenny. If you are turned off by such "excessive use of bad language" then I STRONGLY suggest that you avoid the comedy tent at Bonnaroo. In fact, you might wanna consider skipping the festival all together. It's rather excessive in all facets of excess.
The more you know!
