it's always hard for me to completely buy into the headbanging keyboard player. that's just me, though.

It's like they're deliberately trying to mislead kids and cause harm. Like Halloween candy with razor blades inside.

I meant on low squatting guitar and backing vocals.

"man, your technical playing was great, and we like your style, and you seem like a good hang, but there are just a couple of guys we're considering that can just squat a lot lower than you. sorry, dude. good luck."

I didn't even have to look that up.
But yeah, this video is never not funny.

"Yeah, man. He's right. Your jeans are, like, awesome-tight, your hair is wicked silky and we like your deep V. But we're just looking for a dude that can get his balls on the concrete, you know? Crab for life, bro."
If I didn't have a bunch of better things to do, I'd be really inclined to go see them. Just to hear their banter and see what their following is like. And if I were a frontman, by the way, I'd totally steal the chubby lil feller's zombie-run.

These guys are playing SXSW. I'm gonna check 'em out there. While it'd be fun to see them rock the out to the kids at Rcktwn, I think it'll just a little bit more funny to see how they go over at a hipster-laden day party.

See above for an example of how much dumber a repeat viewing of this video has made me.

Matching outfits and guitars, emo haircuts, screaming vocals, pitch correction, choreography, squats, and a headbanging keyboard player...these guys have all the bases covered. If they just had a lead singer with a chainsaw...

thank you Steve, I just had a real moment. The singer's head-banging with his hands on his thighs cracks me up.

I've heard "don't fake the funk" so it leads me to ponder... No imitation crabcore?
That sort of musing may require a desert cave or a tree on a hill.

Gold, when I read "hipster-laden" I immediately thought of a bearded terrorist in skinny jeans.
