Funny vid... @joel speaks the truth. It is still upsetting, however, that Moon Taxi came in second even though their performance was SO much better than the Non Coms. How can you judges that dissed the Taxi live with yourselves. Don't you want Nashville to be represented at Bonnaroo by the best we have to offer? Yes. Moon Taxi was, by far, the most talented group of mushins of the night!!

Let the performance speak for itself. Here's a link to the last 4 performers and CLEARLY Moon Taxi took the show.

Everyone was good, but Moon Taxi took it to 'eleven'.

If Poon Taxi is so good, how come they can't get into Bonnaroo unless they win a battle of the bands? Let it go.

Dude, I play drums with a poker face. It's sort of my thing. I call it the anti-Keith Moon -- the Entwistle, if you will...I also take quaaludes...lots and lots of quaaludes, before going onstage. They keep me from rushing.

I think Gold could be playing drums for Springsteen while on fire and still have the same face. It's just his thing. It's not a look of disinterest or boredom. It's just Gold playing the drums. Everyone knows this. Every musician has their performance idiosyncrasies that they adhere to in order to give the best performance they can.

I wish I knew enough about the local scene for this to make sense to me.
