Whatevs Slayer Hates Us All: American Carnage Tour Re-Scheduled Without Nashville Date

OK, so we in Nashville have gotten used to bands not coming here, but this one really hurts. You all undoubtedly remember Slayer and Megadeth's American Carnage tour, which, had it not been for the divine intervention of Tom Araya's back surgery, would've rained blood over Municipal Auditorium this past Sunday.
Given the nature of show's cancellation, most metalheads were able to find it within themselves to forgive the thrash titans, despite this being the most un-metal force majeure ever. Well, it turns out, according to Pollstar, the tour has now been rescheduled, sans Nashville date. Slayer, what the fuck? You know what's even less metal than not coming here? Indian giving. I'm not even gonna give you guys the courtesy of a road trip post.

@george."Indian giving" is a pejorative term directed at white Americans -- sort of like "redneck" -- not Native Americans.
I thought the Scene had a bit more class than that. Way to bring it down a notch!

@George Settle down, I think Native Americans are more concerned with much more important things. I don't recall any campaigns fighting for the end of the term Indian Giver...

Ok...enough about indian giving for Christ sake. This blog was started about Slayer fucking all of the Nashville fans that bought tickets and were then fed a line of BS as to why the Nashville show was not rescheduled. I have always loved Slayer....until this crap. I still love their music but I have lost a lot of respect for a band I have been a fan of for well over 20 years. I was going to take my 15 yr old son to his first thrash show on 1/31/10. I will never again buy anything slayer. Fuck slayer!
