Today, singer-songwriter Kat Brock is releasing three songs for free via her Bandcamp page. The songs, "Crooked Space," "City" and "Colors in the Trees" are from her forthcoming record C (not to be confused with Umbrella Tree's The Letter C), which features Simon Lynn of The Whole Fantastic World.

If Brock's name sounds familiar, you may know her from the Knoxville band Dixie Dirt, in which her duties were listed on the band's MySpace page as "guitar, vocals, tofu." You may also have caught her at the Meltface Rock the Block night over at Exit/In a couple weeks back. If'n you download her new stuff and dig it, consider checking her out this Friday night at The Basement, where she's playing a CD release show.
