Cream Calendar Weekend Round-Up: Unseasonably Warm Style

How 'bout this weather we're having? Srsly!? Anyhow, our lovely and talented art director Elizabeth Jones recommended that we start combining all of the weekend's listings and putting them up first thing Friday as one big post. She claims that this will help "old people" such as her 27-year-old self better map out their weekends.
What do you think? Better? Worse? Do you care? Is anyone reading? Whatever. This weekend looks mighty, mighty promising, what with a certain reunion of the kiddie-punk variety, a certain bash of the seven-year anniversary variety, some various Heavies of the Black Diamond variety and a certain Crofton of the Chris variety. Friday:
* Tonight's installment of Mercy Lounge's seven-year anniversary bash will feat. special guests The Features, The Non-Commissioned Officers, the rising phoenix that is the new De Novo Dahl, Apollo Up!, The Ettes and one more special guest. I know who the other special guest is! I'll tell you. I totally will. I don't care. Just ask. There's also the Happy Valley shindig going on downstairs at Cannery.
* MEEMAW reunion at The End! Remember when we told you about this one? Some people were like, "Great!" and some people were like, "Who?" Also on the bill are JEFF the Brotherhood, MARJ & So Jazzy.
* Everyone's favorite podcaster, Chris Crofton, hosts his "Kingdom Come" comedy night feat. The Clutters & Ghostfinger.
* Garrison Starr w/Angel Snow at 3rd & Lindsley.
* Seawitch w/The Midnight Ghost Train & Akris at Springwater.
* Happy Birthday Amy w/Hanzelle & Cheer Up Charlie Daniels at The 5 Spot.

Are the Protomen playing again Saturday night? According to the Mercy Lounge calendar the Protomen were supposed to play last night and are not listed for Saturday night.
Turbo Fruits are definitely the other special guest tonight.
So none of that 'is it KOL??' shit!!
Good question, RIMBoy. They did in fact play last night. We listed it incorrectly.
Tonight's Happy Birthday Amy show is our last ever. We're going out Conan style, one could say.
