Cream Calendar Weekend Round-Up: Snowed-In Style Part 1

So it's hovering around 20 degrees, East Nashville is a solid sheet of ice, and I'm one of about four people in the office today. Hey, I can handle it. The real question is this: Are any of you people getting out tonight, or will you be serving another term as mayor of Snuggie Town? If you can find your way out from beneath the blankets, here are some shows you might find noteworthy:
Rock and Roll DJ Night feat. American Bang, Matt Friction & The Ettes at Mercy Lounge. Don't put your party panties on in hopes that this is a full-on rock show. It's "DJ sets from some of Nashville's best rockers and even a couple rollers." Dancing panties would be more appropes, methinks.

But I do remember people wearing hoodies with "BTBAM" printed on them when I went to shows at the Muse back in '03. Let Sullivan hold your hand as you traverse down the dark and ominous metalcore path.
J-Po and the V.A.B w/Jack Nasti & Sonar Fleece at 12th & Porter. Word is that J-Po is Tennessee House of Representatives Minority Leader Gary Odom's son. Crazy.
Buffalo Clover w/Pushy Lips & Six Gun Lullaby at The End.
