Well, Kevin "Face Paint" Barnes & Co. might not be playing a four-day stretch of 1 p.m. shows at Mercy Lounge anytime soon, but they will be appearing downstairs at Cannery on Feb. 6. The Athens-bred crew of theatrically inclined, vivacious indie-popsters have just announced their show with James Husband, so ready your feather boas for a night of heavy homo-exotica. Tickets are $20 in advance and $22 the day of the show. You can purchase yours right here tomorrow morning, Jan. 8, at 10 a.m. sharp. And if you can't wait a month to see what sort of sexually ambiguous antics Of Montreal has in store, feel free to get a taste of the NSFW right over here. Gross.

The last show at the Cannery was a little blah. Maybe I wasn't close enough to the front. But they *did* do the most spot-on cover of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" that I've heard.
