As unfortunate as this is for so many people--the Megadeth and Testament camps, the concerts' promoters, and, of course, the fans--Tom's health is the number one priority, and this has to happen.Damn, Slayer, I thought metal was the No. 1 priority. At least tell me that the surgery will be done with "no anesthesia." As you can glean from the statement above, Megadeth and Testament--the show's support acts--will also be forced to cancel as well. Fear not, though; as the press release goes on to say "booking agents for both Slayer and Megadeth are already hard at work rescheduling the tour dates; tickets already purchased for these shows will be honored at the rescheduled dates." We'll keep you posted on a the new date that's hopefully forthcoming.
